Every Premium build is rated for 150 mph winds. LP SmartSide engineered siding with a 50-year manufacturer warranty. Kiln-dried 2×4 framing at 16" on center. Doubled studs every 4 feet at siding seams. Real headers above every door and window.

Premium
Our highest construction standard. Rated for 150 mph winds. Continuous airflow ventilation. Mobile home anchors included.
Floor System
- Foundation: 4×6 pressure-treated runners, notched 1"
- Joists: 2×6 pressure-treated, 16" O.C. (12" upgrade available; standard on Workshop & Lofted Workshop)
- Fastening: 4" Simpson hurricane screws at every joist connection
- Flooring: 5/8" Huber Perform Max engineered wood, 25-year manufacturer warranty
Wall System
- Studs: Kiln-dried 2×4 at 16" O.C., doubled every 4 feet at siding seams
- Top Plate: Double interlocking (enhanced structural integrity during transport)
- Sheathing: 3/8" LP SmartSide engineered wood, 50-year manufacturer warranty
- Headers: True headers above all doors and windows
Roof System
- Trusses: 2×4 with metal truss plates, 24" O.C.
- Truss Fastening: 6" Simpson hurricane screws through top plate into every truss, both sides
- Sheathing: OSB with synthetic underlayment (standard under shingle and metal)
- Metal Roof: 40-year manufacturer warranty
- Shingle Roof: 25-year manufacturer warranty
Ventilation
- Full-length screened soffit vents along eaves
- Full-length ridge vent at peak, continuous airflow soffit-to-ridge
Anchoring
- Mobile home anchors included standard

Same runner and flooring quality as Premium with simplified framing, decking and overhangs. A solid build at a lower price point.

- Two aluminum louvered vents on gable ends, functional ventilation, no continuous airflow system
Little Speedy
Select-style walls with a Premium-style roof and ventilation. The sweet spot for compact builds where you still want the full ridge-vent airflow.
Floor & Walls (Like Select)
- Floor joists: 2×6 at 16" O.C.
- Flooring: 5/8" LP Legacy
- Wall studs: 2×4 at 24" O.C.
- Top plate: Single
Roof & Ventilation (Like Premium)

Black-trim windows, single-slope rooflines, French entries, the modern aesthetic doesn't change the engineering. LP SmartSide siding, 16" O.C. wall studs, Huber Perform Max floor: same Premium build under a different finish.
Customers using these as backyard offices, art studios and pool houses get the same wind rating and warranty as the barn-style builds.
Workhorse Buildings,
Built To Last
Our most popular style. Lofted storage, wide doors, optional Workshop upgrade with 12" O.C. floor joists for heavier loads. Trusses are 24" O.C. with 6" Simpson hurricane screws into every truss on both sides.
This is the spec that earns the 150 mph wind rating, and the build standard customers in coastal NC and SC ask for by name.
